1.1 All prices shown on the Woody Stoves website include VAT at the rate applicable from time to time.
2.0 Product Information
2.1 Product information is exclusively supplied by the manufacturers of the stoves.
2.2 We offer the product information in good faith, which you should only use as a guide. We strive to ensure that the product information we provide on our website is accurate, but errors and omissions are possible. If an error occurs, we reserve the right to correct any product information.
2.3 Product descriptions, dimensions and other specifications on this site are provided by the manufacturer and may be approximate. This information may change without notice. Please confirm any specific details before ordering with your installer or the manufacturer.
2.4 Images on our website are for illustrative purposes only and provided by the manufacturer. Colours may vary to those illustrated, and can look different on other computer screens.
2.5 We would always recommend that you arrange to view directly the product you wish to purchase, when any questions over the images you have seen, colours and any other details of the product can be verified.
3.1 When you place an order, you will receive an email with your invoice. This will provide details of the items you have ordered. We highly recommend that you double check your order to ensure that the information is correct. Then, we will call you to arrange delivery. Please keep all emails which relate to the order.
4.1 We offer a free nationwide delivery on all stoves and orders over £500. For orders under £500, a small delivery charge will apply.
4.2 You are responsible for moving all items delivered to you from point of delivery to your chosen point of storage or installation.
4.3 Under no circumstances, should you place an order for a product without having had your installer carry out a site survey and confirm your stove can be moved to your chosen point of storage or installation.
4.4 We will deliver the goods to the address provided when you place an order. It is important that this address is accurate.
4.5 We aim to deliver your items within the delivery time quoted on our website when you place an order. For special orders , it may take longer for the manufacturers to produce and deliver the goods. So, we may extend the delivery time to allow for this.
4.6 Although we make effort to ensure the delivery times quoted on the website are accurate, we cannot guarantee this. We estimate the delivery time based on the information given to us by the manufacturer.
5.1 Before placing an order, please check that there is clear access to the property. We deliver your goods on a 7.5 tonne delivery vehicle (about the size of a bin wagon).
5.2 Depending on access, the driver will be unable to move the goods across gravelled, or unfinished drives, through narrow openings, or up steps.
5.3 Stoves are very heavy. The driver will deliver as agreed with you to the point of delivery specified by you, but is not insured beyond that. We strongly suggest that you have at least one or two other persons with you to assist any further movement of the product.
5.4 We require you to check the goods before signing the paperwork with the driver present. In the event of a failed delivery, e.g , if there is no one at the property when we deliver, then re-delivery charges will apply. You will be telephoned to arrange re-delivery.
5.5 If you cancel an order after it has been dispatched, there will be a charge for the return delivery costs. Even if the products have not reached your address.
6.0 Cancellations and Returns
6.1 You are entitled to a statutory cooling off period, which begins immediately from when you place your order and ends 14 working days after we deliver the goods. During this period, you have the option to cancel your order.
6.2 If you wish to cancel your order, you must inform us by email or recorded post. We usually pay refunds within 14 days of cancellation, or the goods being returned safely (whichever is the later).
6.3 Once you receive the goods, and you decide that you want to cancel, you must contact us to arrange the return of the goods within 14 working days of the delivery. During this time, you are responsible for the safekeeping and ownership of the goods. This is until we collect the goods.
6.4 If the goods have not been returned to us or arranged to be returned within 28 working days of notice of cancellation, then we will deem the notice of cancellation as being null and void.
6.5 The goods must not have been fitted, installed or used in any way. The goods must be unmarked and free from blemishes of any kind. You must return them in a saleable condition, in the original packaging, if possible. All spare parts are non-returnable and non-refundable due to being a special order. The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility.
6.6 In circumstances that are outside our control we reserve the right to cancel an order if:
- If the manufacturers price lists change in any way
- The manufacturers product is no longer made
6.7 Where your debit or credit card has been charged to us, we will refund the amount as soon as possible back onto the same card.
7.0 Payment terms
7.1 We will charge your credit account for payment upon receipt of your order. All purchases must be fully paid for, prior to despatch.
7.2 We accept no liability if a delivery is delayed because you did not give us the correct payment details.
7.3 If it is not possible to obtain full payment for the goods from your account then we reserve the right to cancel the order and/or suspend any further deliveries to you. This does not affect any other rights we may have.
8.0 Our Returns Policy
8.1 We will make every effort to ensure the goods arrive undamaged. Some of our products are both heavy and fragile, and need careful handling until installed.
8.2 We will repair or replace (for free) any item found defective or damaged before delivery or during unloading. This is in addition to your manufacturers guarantee.
8.3 We cannot accept return of products which are damaged after delivery. If you wish to return part or all your order, please email. Or write to us at Woody Stoves, The Old Guard House, Site 1 Harmans, Cotwall Lane, High Ercall, Telford, Shropshire. TF6 6JD.
8.4 You must confirm that the goods are in the original packaging, unused in anyway and that we can inspect the goods before signing for them. Failure to do this will result in no return number or address being issued. Items returned to us must be sent by recorded delivery.
8.5 If we find that the goods are defective and you do not wish to have a replacement, repair or reselection, we will make a refund for the goods.
8.6 All spare parts are non-returnable and non-refundable due to being a special order.
9.0 Installation (If applicable)
9.1 You accept responsibility to ensure that products are installed correctly and in compliance with current Building Regulations and the I.E.E (Institute of Electrical Engineers) Wiring Regulations. Contact the Building Control Officer of your Local Authority to find out how these regulations apply to you.
9.2 You must ensure that the fitter has the qualifications to install the appliance. If you are unsure, then you can find a list of qualified installers on the HETAS website. Please be aware that if you are having a boiler stove or gas stove installed, the fitter will require additional qualifications to do this.
